European Union Agency for Criminal Justice Cooperation (EUROJUST)
EUROJUST is an agency of the European Union, based in The Hague, founded in 2002. Its primary goal is to improve international judicial cooperation in criminal matters in cases of cross-border organized crime, by stimulating cooperation and coordination of the state prosecutors' offices of the member states.
European Public Prosecutor's Office (EPPO)
The European Public Prosecutor's Office is an independent public prosecutor's office of the European Union. It was formed in 2017, in response to the growing need for a prosecutorial organization competent to fight against the financial interests of the European Union.
The EPPO is primarily responsible for investigating and prosecuting crimes of fraud, corruption and money laundering committed to the detriment of the European Union.
The seat of the European Public Prosecutor's Office is in Luxembourg.
European Judicial Network (EJN)
The European Judicial Network (EJN) is a network of contact points within the European Union for the facilitation of cross-border judicial cooperation between member states. Its focus is to combat serious types of crime, such as organized crime, corruption, drug trafficking and terrorism.
The EJN was created in 1998, and has a Secretariat located at EUROJUST in The Hague.
