A meeting was held at the premises of the Supreme State Prosecutor’s Office between Supreme State Prosecutor Milorad Marković and Liaison Prosecutor to EUROJUST Jelena Đaletić with Diana Alonso Blas, Head of the Data Protection Service of the European Union Agency for Criminal Justice Cooperation (EUROJUST).

The participants emphasized the importance of protecting and ensuring the security of personal data, as well as the application of European standards in the work of Montenegrin prosecutor’s offices. The importance of continuously improving the knowledge of prosecutors and staff in this field was particularly highlighted.

The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange experiences between the Supreme State Prosecutor’s Office and EUROJUST regarding the protection and security of personal data within the framework of the new case management information system, the establishment of which is currently underway.
