Enhancing Cooperation Between the Prosecutor’s Offices of Montenegro and Albania in the Fight Against Crime

Strengthening cooperation in the fight against organized crime and corruption was the focus of a meeting between the highest representatives of the prosecution services of Montenegro and Albania.

Supreme State Prosecutor Milorad Marković, Chief Special Prosecutor Vladimir Novović, and State Prosecutor Siniša Milić met, at the premises of the Supreme State Prosecutor’s Office, with Klodjan Braho, the newly appointed Head of the Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK) of the Republic of Albania, and Altin Dumani, Head of SPAK’s International Office.

On that occasion, representatives of the Montenegrin prosecution service wished Mr. Braho a successful term, expressing their expectation that cooperation would continue at the highest professional level, as in the previous period.

During the meeting, an Agreement on the Establishment of a Joint Investigation Team between the prosecution offices of Montenegro and the Republic of Albania was signed.
