Vrhovni dr\u017eavni tu\u017eilac Crne Gore Milorad Markovi\u0107 i glavna dr\u017eavna tu\u017eiteljka Republike Slovenije Katarina Bergant potpisali su Memorandum o saradnji, dokument koji postavlja temelje savremenijeg, efikasnijeg i otvorenijeg djelovanja tu\u017eila\u0161tava obje dr\u017eave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to Markovi\u0107, the Chief Special Prosecutor Vladimir Novovi\u0107 and State Prosecutor Jelena \u0110aleti\u0107 had the opportunity to exchange experiences and best practices with Slovenian prosecutors in cases of organized crime and corruption, and to discuss ways to enhance cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By signing the Memorandum, Montenegro and Slovenia confirm their shared commitment to strengthening professional standards, improving the fight against crime, and developing modern, digitally transformed prosecutorial systems, including the development and implementation of advanced information solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Memorandum provides for a more intensive exchange of knowledge, experience, and best practices in the fight against crime, particularly organized crime, money laundering, human trafficking, and migrant smuggling. It also envisages the organization of regular annual and thematic meetings, as well as the establishment of contact points within both institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Supreme State Prosecutor, Milorad Markovi\u0107, emphasized that the signing of the Memorandum represents an important step toward creating a safer, fairer, and more transparent prosecution service, in which the institutions of both countries can respond more swiftly and effectively to contemporary security challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis cooperation is not merely formal, but an expression of our intention to build strong, modern institutions capable of responding to the needs of citizens and making a substantial contribution to strengthening the rule of law. Digitalization and efficiency in work will be areas that we will continue to develop together with our colleagues from the Republic of Slovenia,\u201d Markovi\u0107 stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These activities of the Prosecution Service were implemented with the support of the European Union\u2019s regional project EU4FAST.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
