The Supreme State Prosecutor, Milorad Markovi\u0107, and the Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms, Sini\u0161a Bjekovi\u0107, signed a Protocol on the safekeeping and protection of classified information, the protection of secrecy and confidentiality of proceedings, and the protection of personal data, with the aim of safeguarding citizens\u2019 rights and strengthening institutional cooperation. <\/strong>potpisali su Protokol o \u010duvanju i za\u0161titi tajnih podataka, za\u0161titi tajnosti i povjerljivosti postupka i za\u0161titi li\u010dnih podataka, u cilju za\u0161tite prava gra\u0111ana i ja\u010danja institucionalne saradnje.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The purpose of this Protocol is to raise the level of security in the use of sensitive information and to enhance the safety and respect for the fundamental rights of every individual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 The Protocol establishes clear obligations regarding the safeguarding of classified and personal data, their use exclusively for purposes prescribed by law, and the consistent observance of standards of confidentiality in proceedings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Markovi\u0107 and Bjekovi\u0107 emphasized that this Protocol enhances trust and harmonization of procedures in cases involving the processing of sensitive data within both institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
