The goal of these reforms is to build the Prosecutor\u2019s Office as an autonomous, independent and professional institution, capable of applying the law consistently and efficiently, with visible and sustainable results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Supreme State Prosecutor Milorad Markovi\u0107, Chief Special Prosecutor Vladimir Novovi\u0107, and representatives of the state prosecutorial organization participated in the meeting of the Subcommittee on Justice, Freedom and Security, held on February 10 and 11 in Podgorica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On that occasion, Markovi\u0107 emphasized that the results achieved continuously clearly confirm progress both in the fight against organized crime and corruption and in the protection of fundamental rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe full autonomy of the prosecutorial organization and the independence of each individual prosecutor represent a key precondition for efficient work, which is built within the prosecution service itself, but must also be guaranteed and protected by the legislative and executive branches,\u201d Markovi\u0107 stressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Supreme State Prosecutor stated that building a strong and independent institution requires perseverance, excellence and continuity, and that the State Prosecutor\u2019s Office continues along this path with the clear goal of being fully prepared to function as a reliable and equal
