Effective and direct efforts to combat organised crime and other serious criminal offences, particularly drug trafficking, through enhanced information exchange, coordination of investigations and more effective prosecution of cross-border cases, are the objectives of the Memorandum of Understanding signed by Supreme State Prosecutor Milorad Markovi\u0107 and Attorney General of the Republic of Costa Rica Carlo D\u00edaz S\u00e1nchez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Memorandum provides a basis for strengthening direct cooperation between the prosecution services, creating additional opportunities for the exchange of experiences and the improvement of mechanisms for international legal assistance in cases of mutual interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
